Folders duplicated and files missing from iCloud Drive Documents folder

Has anyone else had file management problems like this? Upon logging into my MacBook Pro today, I discovered that six financial folders have duplicates (such as Advice and Advice 2) with nothing in the second folder. Additionally, a Pay Stubs and a Taxes folder are empty! This is after I had to sign into my Google account again, which I don't understand because the OS was updated on 11/23, and I already did that. There are no recent file deletions in iCloud online, and I have searched for the files in Finder and confirmed that they did not get inadvertently moved. I have MacOS Sequoia Version 15.1.1 (24B91). I maintain good security and do not see any other indications of malware, hacking, etc.

Disregard. This was a combination of operator error and Dropbox error. I apparently tried to move this folder from Dropbox a few days ago, and Dropbox deleted everything before completing the transfer. My bad for not checking my work. Thankfully, everything was recoverable from within Dropbox online.
