Can I Replace My iPad Pro Wi-Fi Version with a Wi-Fi + Cellular Model?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an iPad Pro 11-inch 512GB Wi-Fi version on October 17, 2024. After using it, I realized that WhatsApp doesn't work on the Wi-Fi-only version, which is a major issue for me as a student. I frequently use WhatsApp group calls for project presentations and collaboration.

I now need the Wi-Fi + Cellular version of the iPad Pro 11-inch 512GB to meet my academic needs. Unfortunately, the refund period has passed since I was out of the city and unable to courier the device back to Apple.

The iPad is in brand-new condition without any damage. I am willing to pay the $200 difference to upgrade to the Cellular + Wi-Fi model.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Does Apple allow such replacements or upgrades after the refund period, especially for customers with specific needs like this? Any advice or insights would be appreciated!

Beyond the 14-day period that Apple allow you to return an unwanted device for unconditional exchange or refund, your only viable option is to sell your unwanted iPad privately - accepting that you are unlikely to recoup the full cost of your "used" iPad.
