Crazy eyes -Face ID no longer working with attention required feature

So it seems my IPhone automatically updated even though I have the setting turned off for automatic updates, but that is not my point. So suddenly yesterday my phone was not recognizing my face for Face ID. It won’t allow me to turn off attention required feature. It won’t recognize my face to reset it. My assumption is that it now requires me to be looking at the screen, but I have strabismus and both of my eyes won’t look at the screen at the same time ever. So, I can no longer use Face ID what - unless I have eye surgery???

If you try this

If you don’t want to use these features, open the Settings app, tap Face ID & Passcode, then turn off Attention Aware Features.

Attention awareness won't turn off? If it won't turn off is your iPhone managed by a company or an educational institution? Then it could be that your system administrator is prohibiting the disabling of this functionality
