How to unhide an iPhone app that I removed from homescreen?

None of the existing Apple support answers worked. But by accident I figured out how to unhide an app.
Swipe left until you get into the App Library. You can try to hold the app icon and get menu. If there is no option for Edit Home Screen, then just hold and drag the app back to app screens. This drag worked for me.
