Since I updated the software to the latest 8.1 I can’t select photos and send them to messages or apps! If I take a photo and immediately click messages it just resets, I have to go into gallery and do it from there. Also, selecting multiple photos from gallery and sending them to a design app won’t work, it just unselects and stays on the page! So frustrating!
Try doing a restart, also, make sure you're updated to the latest version of iOS 18 (which is iOS 18.1.1).

After the reset the photos I take from the messages app are now attaching, however you are correct it is that particular app (Pic Collage), it must not support the updates, when I select the pic, then select pic collage, it goes back to gallery. Hopefully the app will be updated. Thanks for your help!

Hm, weird. it’s probably a bug then. Because I’m able to send photos over to messages from the Photos app directly. As for the issue with the design app, is it up-to-date?
A few times photo gallery has frozen too. I may delete some pics and hope this fixes it.
