My Apple ID was accidentally deleted. I created a new ID and want to reset my AirTags to the new ID. I tried the resetting procedure recommended on this site. That doesn’t work. I have no access to my old Apple ID.
I have 5 tags I need to reset. Are they toast now?

If you no longer have access to your old Apple Account, regardless of the reason, and these AirTags have already been associated with it, then yes, these tags will not be available to you with your new account.
You can certainly double-check that by contacting Apple Support directly. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
