How to manage explicit content and play clean versions in Apple Music after iOS 18 update?

If you have your content filter on, any playlist you added to your library would give you the clean versions of songs if available. Such as the Hip Hop Workout playlist. After iOS 18 upgrade, playlist from Apple Music only have the explicit versions of songs on them.

We don’t need to get into edited vs explicit music discussions. 🙂

Apple Music Playlist not showing edited music After updating to iOS 18 my phone, which has content restrictions turned on, would show playlist with the explicit versions of music. This was not normal as when contact restrictions is on the edited version of a song should show in the playlist of available. For instance, Hip Hop workout playlist from Apple Music will show edited versions of available songs and allow you to save the playlist with any songs that only have explicit versions grayed out. After iOS 18 upgrade these playlist would show up on my phone with every song greyed out. This was only happening on my phone. If I looked at the playlist on my Mac, it would still show the edited versions as part of the playlist. [Edited by Moderator]

Is there a way to request explicit versions of songs on Apple Music? I recently switched over to Apple Music from Spotify and when I was adding songs to my library I was looking for a song called “My Attitude” by Flo Milli. Only the clean version is there and I don’t want that. It’s a little weird because it has the explicit version for the music video but not for the song itself. Am I missing something? Is there anyway I can get this song or do i have to switch back to Spotify when I want to listen to the song. Thanks in advance [Re-Titled by Moderator]
