Just got my new iPhone 15 and I’ve been babying it. I just noticed on the 4th of opening it, the charger port (more specifically the ring/trim on the outside) is like dented or scratched

This is not abnormal. Unless you manage to perfectly insert the cable every single time without accidentally bumping into the area this would happen. It is purely cosmetic and is not something that would necessitate repair or replacement. It is is just superficial scratches

Again, this is cosmetic and likely from you plugging the charging cable in. It is not a defect nor is it something that would be covered under warranty as it is cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the device.
Is it affecting the performance of the charging? Cosmetic damage is not covered by the Apple Manufacturers Warranty.
It’s just normal wear and tear. The end of the USB-C cables need to be sturdy enough not to deform and metal scratches. Just a part of life. It’s all normal Enjoy your new iPhone and happy holidays.
I dont see any dents, I see slight scratches where you probably bumped the phone with the USB plug while plugging it in.
