FInd My iPhone

I recently got a new phone and the whole transfer process went smoothly. However, some of the locations on find my iphone didn't transfer over. Under the people's tab of Find My iPhone I can see some locations but others say "no location found". However, I am still able to see these people's location on my ipad and macbook. Is there a reason I'm not seeing the location on my phone? What can I do to fix this?
