Apple Health not accepting BP data

Since updating to 18.1.1 on 11/25/24 I have not been able to add blood pressure data to my Health app manually. I enter the two numbers but when I tap Add, nothing happens. Same for heart rate.

Health app blood pressure feature gives range but not average The blood pressure feature in the health app is pretty good and accurate. It presents the data both numerically and in a chart. You can look back at various time segments, e.g. day, week, month, etc. However it gives the readings in the form of a RANGE. That is all helpful, but what would be even more helpful is if the app also showed *average*. You know, the average BP for a week, or a month, etc.. Or even if you did multiple readings in one day, an average would be helpful. Obviously the user can get the average manually by doing simple arithmetic on the raw data, but that's kind of a time sink and a pain. Does anyone else agree that having BP average would be useful and a good addition to just displaying the range?

OMRON data not syncing with Apple Health app OMRON connect installed and paired with blood pressure monitor. I can see my data from blood pressure cuff in the OMRON connect app, but not to Apple health. On the OMRON side I see data is being shared with Apple health. On the Apple health side, when I look at the privacy section under my profile, I see other apps that are sharing data with the health app, but OMRON Connect is not one of them. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Thanks, it worked. Although I know this as a general principle, I'm afraid I haven't made it a cardinal rule.
