2022 macbook air will not download many apps I need

Insta360 seems to be a manufacturer of various "action camera" and webcam type products.

You have not indicated which one you have, or what software you are trying to use with it. On the Downloads page, the vendor mentions two applications:

• Insta360 – a device control app available for Android and iOS
• Insta360 Studio – desktop editing software available for macOS and Windows

Insta360 is not a Mac application.

Apple Silicon Macs – like yours and mine – can run some iPhone and iPad apps, but only if the app developer allows it. When I search the App Store for "Insta360", nothing comes up. So that app is mobile-only and you cannot run it on your Mac.

As for Insta360 Studio, you would get it from the Downloads page, on the Insta360 site. When you drill down to the downloads section for whichever Insta360 product you own, you may find several other pieces of support software, each with a description of what systems it is for.
