Downloading Numbers for macOS Monterey

If you have never installed Numbers from the Mac App Store since Oct 2013, or your Mac came with Numbers preinstalled on it, then you cannot get Numbers v13.1 for Monterey.

Ideally, you should have Monterey 12.7.6 installed.

If the first paragraph is false and you did install it, then launch the Mac App Store. Sign in with the identical Apple ID used to download Numbers previously. Then press cmd+0 (zero) to open the Purchased page. If Numbers appears there, it should have some adjacent indication it can be downloaded. Click that and do not click Cancel on any dialog that appears. A final dialog will offer to install the last compatible version (13.1) of Numbers on macOS Monterey.
