Timeout notification received on Instagram.

I was using instagram when this notification popped up “Idle timeout, num non control streams: 0” .I immediately exited the app without touching anything on the notification.

I'd like to add a little extra detail: social apps are not working in my country today, so when this notification popped up, my Instagram stopped working, nothing was loading, or I couldn’t DM.

is my iphone hacked? If yes than what should I do?

Probably not a hack, but nobody here can be certain.

Why uncertain? How whatever regional network activities are manifesting within third-party apps, or whether this is a more mundane glitch in a third-party app, or in VPNs or whatever else might be involved here getting tangled, nobody here knows.

That app error message appears to be quite unique as well, with only one other reference extant, deep in a log file of, well, something.

I’d suggest updating to iOS 18, particularly if security is a concern. Then check for updates for other apps, too. Enable two-factor authentication too, if not already enabled.
