How to erase old Apple Account and use new one?

i just purchased a new iphone. i used to have some apps downloaded from another account, unused for years. now i want to download these apps with my actual account, but cant because apple is asking the users of this old account that i don't have any more, and when trying to reset the passwords, thay say the account cannot be validated. these are extremly important apps... please help me?!

I want to erase this account definitely or least being able to download these apps...

You cannot merge or transfer apps between accounts. You may be able to share them with Family Sharing. To learn how to set up Family Sharing, read this support article --> Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support If you cannot do that you will have to buy them again. Note that some data also cannot be transferred.

If you have not used the other account in some time it may be Apple has placed it in inactive status.

For help with an invalid/not-active/not-supported account you need to contact Apple.

To reach Apple Support for an account issue:

1. Click here --> https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=cups&PGF=PGF63005

2. Select: Disabled Apple ID

3. Select: ”The Apple ID is not active" alert

4. Select: “Continue”

5. Select a chat or telephone call option.
