Apple TV subscription not showing up on my tv

How do I get the 3 months free Apple TV+ subscription to show up on my tv? When I select the app, I’m prompted to signup for a free 7-day trial, but I already signed up for the 3-month free trial associated with my new iphone16 pro max purchase yesterday from Xfinity.

First verify that the Apple TV+ subscription is successfully activated by watching a bit on your iPhone.


The way it should work on other devices, is that you navigate to the in-app Settings in the sidebar, then go to Accounts, and sign in with the Apple Account to which the Apple TV+ subscription is linked.


On what platform smart TV do you have the Apple TV app? Troubleshooting may differ somewhat by device.
