AOL email not loading entire inbox

Hey all, I just upgraded to a 16 pro max and it’s running the newest iOS version.

The problem I’m having is AOL through the iOS mail app is not loading emails completely. On my iPad and the 13 Pro Max that I upgraded from and have not traded in yet, it is showing my entire inbox, but on the new phone in the Mail app it’s not even loading a third of the inbox amount that I should have.

i’ve already tried deleting the Mail app, resetting network settings, restarting the phone, and re-logging into the email through the settings.

The odd thing is when I first login to the Mail app with that email, it will show the entire inbox, but after about a minute, it drops to zero and then slowly loads up to a smaller amount of emails than it should be (in example, 1900 when it should be 9000). Even when I try to refresh it by pulling down, it will never go past that amount.
