WhatsApp connectivity issues on my iPhone 11 post iOS 18 update

WhatsApp on my iPhone 11 says not connected to the internet yet all other apps, Safari and email are functional. My wife’s WhatsApp is working on our WiFi/internet. WhatsApp worked fine on cellular when in cell coverage.

We updated to the latest iOS, we turned phone off and on several times, we deleted and reinstalled WhatsApp (twice), rebooted internet/wifi several times. Nothing seems to work.

Help would very much be appreciated

Make sure you have update WhatsApp to the latest version. A new version was released just a few days ago. You should also contact the support team at WhatsApp.

I deleted and re-installed update this morning. I did contact WhatsApp but because I mentioned iPhone 11 they said they don’t deal with device issues BUT I will contact them again and not mention my device. Thanks!
