"Offline" will display if one or more of the following are true:

The battery has run down

The phone was powered off

The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is currently located

Unfortunately, you really have no control over any of these things, so all that you can do is keep checking using Find My several times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed, so the phone will display its current location.

I have one question: my phone is protected with an eye lock and password. How can anyone use Wi-Fi, etc.?

Your phone remembers Wi-Fi networks to which it connected previously. Assuming that you had not told it to forget them, it would reconnect to them automatically, even when locked.

However, Wi-Fi is a short-range technology. If you lost your phone, it may have been in a place where it wasn't connected to a Wi-Fi hot spot. If somebody stole your phone, chances are they have taken it to some place the phone hasn't been before, where none of the Wi-Fi hot spots it knows about are available.

A cellular Internet connection is probably the phone's best bet at reporting its location – if you had cellular data turned on.
