Photos 10.0 slide show zoomed?

I am using Photos 10.0 and recently encountered an issue with slideshows. Here's what happened:

  1. I created an album and named it "test."
  2. From the menu bar on the left-hand side, I selected "test," right-clicked, and chose "Play Slideshow." However, all the photos were extremely zoomed in, only showing the subject's face with no surrounding details.
  3. Next, I tried highlighting all the photos in "test" (using Ctrl + A), right-clicking, and selecting "Play Slideshow." Again, the photos appeared zoomed in the same way.
  4. I then returned to the left-hand menu, right-clicked, and selected "Create Slideshow." A slideshow named "test" appeared in the "Projects" section. This slideshow played normally, without any zooming issues.
  5. I created a few more new albums and tried playing their slideshows directly, but they all had the same zooming problem.

I tested this on both my older i9 iMac and my new M3 iMac, and the issue persists on both. This problem only started after I updated to Sequoia 15.1.1.

What might I be doing wrong? How can I fix this issue? It wasn’t like this before the update. Thank you for your help!

iMac 24″, macOS 15.1
