Inactive Apple ID account recovery issue
I’m having trouble recovering my Apple ID account.
A while ago, I kept getting a pop-up on my iPhone asking me to verify my account. At first, I ignored it, but when I eventually tried entering my password, I received an error message stating that my account is no longer active. I attempted to reset my password but after initiating the recovery process, I was informed that a recovery code would be sent to my account’s email. However, since my account is not active on my devices, I am unable to receive any emails and cannot access the recovery email sent to my account.
I contacted a senior advisor, who told me the code would instead be sent to one of my Gmail accounts. I waited several days, but the code never arrived.
I then called Apple Support again and spoke with a different senior advisor. This advisor instructed me to start the recovery process again and return to the iforgot.apple.com page the next day at the exact time I initiated the process to check my recovery status. I’ve tried this three times, even setting alarms to ensure I accessed the page at the correct time, but each time, it just makes me restart the recovery process instead of displaying my recovery status.
I’m unable to make any progress in recovering my account and cannot sign out to create a new account on my phone, as it requires the password for the inactive account. Is there any other way I can verify my account or prove my identity to regain access? I feel stuck and would greatly appreciate any additional guidance on how to resolve this.
