iMessage activation error on iPhone

If you cannot select your phone number in the setting for iMessage not FaceTime we probably have the same issue !

did everything Google and Apple suggested with the turn off and on iMessage ETC

I got it Resolved!

long story short call Apple and speak with a senior advisor. Ask when if your phone number is blocked from iMessage

long story;

yesterday I received several spam text messages like you know the oh your packages can’t be delivered blah blah blah. I got like three or four of those and every time I would report it as junk and have it deleted so I guess somehow that backfired on me and that caused my number to be blocked on iMessage so after the third call to Apple, I spoke with the senior advisor and the lady told me like oh yeah your number is blocked she sent me a series of codes. It took like three tries and she told me like OK. Your number is unblocked, but you know we can only reverse this one time so the next time it happens I guess I will probably have to get a whole new phone number.

Yup my iMessage has been off since 3pm. It only works for one chat idek how.

My iPad keeps saying iMessage activation “an error occurred during activation, try again” I’ve been trying for HOURS! I can’t even click my phone number
