Why is it so complicated that Apple does? It is highly frustrated. I need more space, as I could not install a newer OS version on my Macbook. Ive doen this and now my email doesnt work anymore as there is insufficient space on my local HDD. Why o why is it so difficult?
ive got syncing on. iCloud seems to be ok and working.

you have initially stated that you have no room on your Mac and now state that you have space. What is the issue?
iCloud space is not added to your device space. Anything in iCloud is also on your device. You can optimize storage which may free some space but you’ll still likely need to delete additional content.
If you do not have space on your Mac, you’ll need to delete content or move it to external storage.
really? why do you think I have increased to 2TB? there is plenty if space locally.

I have moved movie files of 25 gb. who are no where to be seen anymore.
Apple is starting to look like Windows bugs after bugs
increased to 2TB from 200GB on iCloud. now I can not receive emails anymore due to insufficient space on my local drive.
