Compressor 4.9 - Can't migrate presets/settings/droplets to a new Mac

Hi There,

Previously, you used to be able to move your presets to ~/Library/Application Support/Compressor/ and they'd show on your new Mac.

But this no longer works. Have checked all Library folders incase it's moved out of the Users App Support folder in 4.9 but no joy.

I also tried to create a new preset to see if I could find where it's saved but can't see anything in the Finder after searching the preset name.

In Compressor 4.9, does anyone know where the droplets now live?

Any help much appreciated.

So far I couldn’t find where these things are stored but I migrated my user account to a new mac and all my Compressor settings are present.

I have to say that, like you, I was surprised not to find these things under Application Support/Compressor, or under Application Support/ProApps

So it looks like this was removed in 4.9?

You have to go to your old Mac, drag the custom preset folders one-by-one from the Compressor sidebar, copy them to your new Mac, then drag the folders one-by-one into the Compressor sidebar on your new Mac.

After doing this, I still don't see a Compressor folder in any of the Library folders on my Mac - or anywhere else on the new Mac.
