Emoji keyboard on the iOS 18.1 update

Is anyone else hating on the new emoji keyboard this latest update gave us? It is absolutely awful. Why couldn't they just make it adjustable so we can decide ourself what size we want it? It's not possible to adjust and this means more scrolling
