"Using Quicktime Player to Screen Record with Audio" follow on

On Jan 17, 2023 @MikeHende posted a question: Using Quicktime Player to Screen Record with Audio that was answered by @BDAqua. This answer was well received.

This solution does not work for me on Sequoia 15.1. I installed BackgroundMusic from Homebrew successfully and see it as a Quicktime option. Video from a YouTube site records as expected, but no audio is recorded. Has something changed in Sequoia that stops this solution from working?
