I’ve updated my iPhone and iPad to 18.0. I’ve deleted apps from my iPhone.
When I go to App Library in settings on my iPad, EVERY app I’ve deleted on iPhone still shows up.
Following the directions to tap and hold app I want to delete just takes me to search, Siri, background refresh options. No option to delete app ever appears.
what am I doing wrong or am I stuck with these I do not want?

The Apps installed on your iPad and iPhone are entirely independent. As such, your devices will have any combination of Apps that you choose for each of your devices.
If you delete an App from your iPad or iPhone, the corresponding App will not be automatically deleted from the other device. If you wish to remove a specific App from both devices, you must manually remove the App from both.
Apps fully removed from a device will not appear within the App Library as shown on the individual device.

one can set devices up to automatically download new apps added to ones appleID from another ios device (ipod touch, ipad, appletv)
I never heard of a setting to auto delete apps from all devices with the same appleID if one deletes an app from another device
Apps deleted from iPhone still show on iPad
