Here are some general hints:


Yyou generally tell your Printer to create custom paper size, the size of one Single final printed page in the booklet, then print those pages. But that may take a lot of tedious hand layout getting it formatted and back-to back.


the backup plan is to create a custom paper the size of TWO printed pages, and tell it to print two pages per sheet. that requires slightly different hand layout gymnastics getting back to back images in place as well.

if your printer does not do two-sided printing, there are ways to print two sided that use odd/even page selection and re-inserting the stack of half-printed pages to print the other side.


I invented this ditty to help me remember, which assumes face-down output delivery. It will be different for face-up delivery. You may have to experiment to get it right:


"print the Even pages oddly (reverse order).

then flip the stack back to the input tray.

then print the Odd pages evenly (regular order)"


note: you always print the odd pages last, in case there is one more than even pages.
