Can record video since last update

My iPhone 13 did an update a few nights ago - to iOS 18.1.1

Since then if I try to record a video the screen is black. The other camera options are fine and I can record video notes in WhatsApp. Any ideas?

my iphone wont record. it can do anything in the camera app except the record option. the screen goes black when i choose record I have not been able to record for days now. When i enter the camera app everything except the option to record works. When i tap record, the camera portion of the screen becomes black. I can use slow mo but not record. When i tap the record button despite the obvious problem, it only records sound. However, it also has a thumbnail for the video as if it really had recorded, and this is for facecam and back cam. When i allow flash to be on, it uses it no matter the real world lighting. I also cannot use cinematic, but can use time lapse.

iPhone 16 camera fail to record videos or crash when I use the control button I got an iPhone 16 a few days ago, and when i use the camera control button for taking pictures or adjusting anything with my camera it works fine. However, when i press and hold the camera control button to take a video it either doesn’t take a video at all or it takes a video after a couple seconds of delay but then when i stop pressing the button my screen goes black and i’m kicked out of the camera app. Afterwards when I go into photos there are no new videos there. How can I fix this? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
