just updated iPhone, how do I manually sync photos now?

For my art class I often have to take photos of my work and subjects and manually hit sync now to get them on my computer. Just updated my phone and don't see the sync now option anywhere. Why does apple make updates that make their devises less user friendly every time. Anyone know how to one click sync photos post update, or do I have to go thru a whole series of steps now.

iPhone Photos has stopped syncing to iPad Photos iOS 18.1.1 on iPhone 16 Pro and iPad OS 18.1.1 on iPad Pro 5th Gen (M1) are not in sync. In previous iOS there was a button to force sync, not in this new version or hidden away somewhere. Restarted iPad but still not syncing. Searching iPhone User Guide pages under Support was not helpful.
