Received voicemail from unknown person but there is no number in history recent log?
Is there way I can find what why this happening. This not the first this has happen to me. And no I do not know the perso at other end.
Any info would help thank you

Many, many years ago, it used to be possible to call into your carrier's voicemail system (you can still do that) and then leave a message for someone else. The voicemail would appear but, as you never called their phone, no entry in Recents. I honestly don't know if it's still possible or not as it's been years since I've used voicemail.
Find out how to call into your voicemail (it's *86 for Verizon), enter your passcode and listen to the options.
