Massive amount of notes disappeared or deleted after update 18.1.1! How can I retrieve them? Where did they go? I have tried all the ‘fixes’ and nothing works! The note files that remain are random, the ones deleted were very important! I am so over using notes!

Did you remove any email addresses that you had on your phone before? Go to Settings>Apps>Mail>Accounts. Do you see all the right ones? Tap on each one and make sure that Notes is enabled for them.
This IOS update deleted every single file stored on the ipad that had been edited with the Apple Pencil. Every PDF is gone! It is not in Recents, not in deleted, just gone! Tons of notes missing.
No, I actually have gone through all of the 'fixes' and nothing has worked. That was a good suggestion though.
