Updating my iphone 10 and it says update up to date for ios 16. Need 18
need ios 18. When I try to update it says my ios 16 is already up to date and I can’t go any further. Help

That's correct. iPhone X cannot be updated past iOS 16. If you need iOS 18, then it's time to retire your phone and buy a newer or new iPhone.
