External Storage is confusing Internal Macintosh HD Storage

I have set up an External NVME with an Enclosure as my primary storage device. All downloads, documents from the applications I use get saved on the External Drive. Applications are downloaded running off the internal drive (Mac mini M4 base 256)

I have moved over my Music from the External Drive into Apple Music and unselected the "Copy Files to Music Folder" option but when I view my storage on the System Settings/ General/ Storage it shows well over half of my internal drive full.

If I click on the "Get Info" on songs in the Apple Music App it shows that the location is based off the external drive.

When I check Disk Utility - It shows only 68 gigs used but on the System Settings/General/ Storage it shows that over 70 gigs of Music is being used.

My question: Is this a glitch on System Settings/General/ Storage and not a concern as the data is stored on my external? Or is there a missing portion here.

Please see the image below that shows only 60+ gigs used on Disk Utility for Mac mini Internal, but shows over 160 gigs total used in the System Settings/General/ Storage.

Mac mini, macOS 15.1
