Apple Watch for Kids

Apple Watch for kids on the face of it is ideal for parents wanting to be able to provide phone calls, tracking, music and various other features for their children but avoiding the downside of too much screen time, gambling social media etc. One ridiculous feature missing is the ability of those living outside the USA to allow for kids to use the watch to pay for items. Apple Watch for Kids does not allow them to load debit card into wallet until they are 18. The problem is solved for those living in the USA with Apple Cash but this feature does not work for anyone outside the USA. Other smart phones allow children to put debit cards, spriggy etc onto their watches - why not Apple. Are there any work arounds? My son is 13 with his own debit card. The only work around I can see if giving him his debit card to carry or buying a Fitbit or iPhone for him. Any other ideas?

Apple’s minimum age requirement to use Apple Wallet, on iPhone or Apple Watch, is 13. Different countries and regions have more restrictive bank regulations for minors to use an electronic wallet. I was working this week with someone in Netherlands and minimum was 14. Another member was from Israel and the age was 16 I believe.
