Unable to add new member and create a new child account on Family Sharing

I had 6 members in my Family Sharing group and removed one child account. After 7 days, the deleted account disappeared, so I assumed I could now add a new child account to my Family. However, the 'Add Member' button is greyed out. I've ensured my iPhone is running the latest iOS, restarted the device, and verified that no settings are restricted. Why am I unable to add a new member and create a new child account?

I am guessing it is something slow at Apple's end but that's a guess. You'd best ask them:

Refer to this page for Apple Support features ➔ Contact - Official Apple Support

Select from the presented options until you find a solution for your issue, or see if there is a chat or phone call contact method offered lower on the page (you sometimes have to narrow down the options multiple times before this is shown). If you do not see your issue, keep experimenting with any series of selections until you reach one that offers a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
