Magic Mouse Gesture Controls Not Functioning

I purchased a Magic Mouse today. While I am able to connect it to my MacBook Pro successfully, I am facing an issue where gesture controls like scrolling, swiping between windows, and other functionalities available on the trackpad are not working on the new magic mouse.

To troubleshoot, I visited an Apple Service Center. We tested the Magic Mouse on another device, and all gesture functionalities worked perfectly. This confirms that the issue is not with the mouse but potentially with a setting or configuration on my MacBook.

Unfortunately, the service center staff could not identify the cause of the issue either and suggested that I contact Apple Support directly.

I am attaching screenshots of the relevant settings on my MacBook under Mouse and Pointer Control. Could you help verify if there’s anything I might have missed in the settings or suggest steps to resolve this issue?
