I am an IPad user. After the upgrade I see the new password icon but many of the passwords I normally found in Settings (General - Passwords) are not listed under the new icon. Are they somewhere else?

A forced-restart of your iPad may help:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
Ensure that you have enabled iCloud Passwords & Keychain in iPad settings:
Settings > [Your Name / Apple Account] > iCloud > Passwords > Sync This iPad - set to ON
