MacBook Pro for photographers and music producers

I am about to purchase two MacBook Pros. One for my girlfriend for photography and possibly video. She wants to works work RAW format photos. Think of doing everything a pro photographer would do, with a manual/darkroom mindset, but digitally.

The other is for me, the musician, for music recording and production using Logic Pro. From what I gather, like RAW format in photography, music projects can get a touch large! ;)

Both of us would have Final Cut Pro for doing video. I’m of a mind that if I got identical spec’d machines I’d be on the right track.i’m

i’m thinking botn machines would be 16”, standard display, minimum M4 Pro chip, with 1T SSD drives, 35Gb of memory

i think this should give us a few years to grow before needing to expand.

Any photographers and musicians have any thoughts

and experiences to share? I’d love to hear them! I’m getting slightly antsy to get my hands on mine and get going! Lots to learn!

Thanks!

p.s.

How do I track/follow/find my posts? I thought you subscribe to them, but finding them has been a challenge.
