Is my Family Sharing password different?

I’m trying to add someone to my family sharing. It requires a password. I’m the family organizer but it keeps telling me my password is incorrect. I’ve verified that I’m using my Apple iCloud password, I’ve even tried my four digit passcode. It’s still telling me my password is incorrect. How do I edit my Family Sharing password? Is it difficult from my Apple Account password?

Family Sharing has no password.

When you set it up, of it asks for a password it would be your Apple Account password. There is no other password.

What exactly are you doing when it asks for a password?
