Can't create apple id at the moment
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a brand-new iPad 10th Generation for my mom. As part of the setup, I tried creating a new Apple ID for her using a unique email address and phone number that have never been associated with any Apple ID before.
However, during the verification step where the code is sent to the phone number, I received an error message stating: "At this moment, a new account cannot be created." I’ve double-checked all the details, ensured a stable internet connection, and verified that the phone number can receive SMS messages without any issues.
I’ve tried creating the Apple ID both directly from the iPad and through the website at https://account.apple.com/, but the same issue persists in both cases.
This is my first attempt at creating an Apple ID on this device, so I don’t believe it’s related to the device’s limit of three accounts.
Has anyone else encountered this issue before? If so, what steps helped you resolve it? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
