“Your screen is being observed” MacOS Sequoia

I am seeing a 'Your screen is being observed' message on the lock screen, and in the Control Center dropdown menu, it shows that WhatsApp is screen recording. I have already revoked WhatsApp's screen recording permissions and closed the app, but the notification persists. I also tried restarting my MacBook, but the issue remains unresolved. I wonder if it is a bug is MacOS Sequoia version 15.1.1?
