Ever since update Siri can’t find my daughters name in contacts, because of pronunciation isn’t exact

Ever since they did a recent update. When I tell my phone to text my daughter Malerie, it tells me that there is no Mallory in my contacts. It used to type her name correctly, as I spelled it. And it used to find her in my contacts. Now if I pronounce it wrong. It finds her.

how do I teach my phone the correct spelling when I say her name? And get rid of the normal spelling of it? I tried adding it to the pronunciation section of her contact. But it still doesn’t make a difference. It still spells it wrong and can’t find her when I tell her to text her.
