Is this website "DirectUnlocks" considered safe, I used to unlock my iphone 15 and it worked. Please advise? Thanks, Pauhew11

No. In fact, what they are doing is illegal. At some point, the carrier the device was originally locked to will find out what happened and either re-lock or completely blacklist the device.

ONLY the carrier a device is locked to can legally remove the carrier lock. No third party will do so and no carriers contract with or otherwise use 3rd parties to do so.

Thanks for letting me know. I am new with Apple

This has nothing to with Apple. It would be same regardless of who manufactured the phone. As KiltedTim correctly suggests if you used this to unlock a carrier locked phone it was illegal and you can expect the original carrier to figure it out at some point, rendering the phone completely unusable.
