4K Apple TV - affected Wi-Fi with Starlink
I’ve been using my 4K Apple TV for 6months and I have been using Starlink for a year plus for my household internet. For the first 5months, I never experienced any issues with my Apple TV 4K and Starlink. There was always great streaming connectivity and never needed to wait for programs or movies to start. Around a month ago the signal between the Apple TV and the Starlink started to get worse. I attempted to reboot the Starlink router and dish numerous times to see if that would help with the Wifi. It didn’t help. I went through the Apply TV rebooting and eventually resetting to factory. This didn’t work either. I checked out different streaming platforms that I have and they all worked with no interruptions to Starlink. I checked my Apple TV and Starlink once again with all the rebooting and resetting. Nothing changed. So eventually I decided to dig out my older 2nd generation Apple TV for storage and try it out with the Starlink to try and rule something out for the poor signal. To my surprise the older Apple TV worked fine and the streaming when right back to normal. So the Starlink wasn’t the problem with the Wifi. It was my new Apple TV 4K that wasn’t working properly and it couldn’t properly process the Wifi connection. Is this a fixable issue or a replacement issue?
