Apple lost a patent lawsuit, prohibiting the use of the blood oxygen app in Apple Watches sold in the US.
Apple Watches sold in other countries are not part of this ruling.

Apple has appealed, but the legal system is slow, as lawyers want time to prepare on both sides, and then getting a court date, and then the judge(s) take time to consider and lookup legal precedent, plus judges have other cases.
The patent expires in August 2028. Not sure if the court case will be resolved before or after 😁
