Have you ever installed Apple's Pages, and Numbers into a version of macOS since Oct 2013? If so, you can get those for macOS Sierra (10.12.6). If not, or if your Mac had these preinstalled, then no.
If you installed it previously, launch the Mac App Store on Sierra and sign in with the same Apple ID you used to install Pages and Numbers previously. Press the option key and click on the Updates toolbar item. This will open a Purchased panel and if you see Pages and Numbers there with an Install or Update button, click that and proceed.
If the second paragraph fails to show Pages or Numbers, then you will need the option that follows:
There is the free LibreOffice Suite and version 7.3.7.2 (direct link to installer download) is compatible with macOS 10.12.6. LibreOffice is a clone of MS Office and has among other tools, a word processor (Writer) and spreadsheet (Calc) application. The LibreOffice v7.3 PDF documentation.
For those wondering about past versions of LibreOffice and the operating systems they support.
