iPhone anyone use lens protectors?

ive put camera lens protectors on my iPhone 16. I did this the same day i got the phone and i hadnt actually tested the camera so I’ve got no basis for comparison

the camera doesn’t seem to be as good as the 15. I don’t know of this is actually true or if it’s the lens protectors. They were expensive so should be good quality. If i remove them and the camera is still the same then i can’t put them back on. They weren’t cheap

has anyone noticed any quality issues using lens protection on the iPhone?

In short, you shouldn’t worry about the lenses.

I used to have an iPhone 12 Pro, and this phone was pretty abused. I dropped it multiple times, as well as my mother, to the point that the back glass was in uneven fragments, with the parts vulnerable. Even after being in sea water and everything, sure it was damaged, but through its 3 years the phone’s lenses were unharmed and functioned perfectly find. Even under light, little to no scratches are seen (dust may look like scratches). The pictures are still of the same quality they used to be. A quick solution would probably be a bulky case that is thicker than the lenses on the back of the phone, ensuring when you drop the phone, the lenses wouldn’t be affected. Otherwise I would advise getting the Apple Care available for 90 days after you purchase from Apple, if this does not quell your worries.

Apple makes their lenses very durable, ensuring an optimal photo experience, so don’t worry! Hope this helps.
