Have you spoken with Apple yet?

My suggestion would be to go to a nearby Apple Store and as to speak with customer service. Over the phone, explaining and waiting for a representative can be time consuming. Also in person, you could discuss with them the possible information associated with the account. Such as location of where the account was made, last name of the person, first name, or anything associated with the email. I’m almost positive they can search their system for keywords including that of the first and last name.
