My new Iphone 16 pro won’t charge via my magsafe charger that I bought last 2022 even if i’m using the apple fast charging adapter. Is there something wrong with the recent software update?

No, my 16 Pro works just fine with the software update. You understand that you need at least a 30 watt USB-C/PD power source to fast charge with MagSafe. Has it ever worked with your iPhone 16 Pro? Do you have a case on the phone that might be interfering? Have you tried a different power source?

Hello, thank you for responding. Now I know what the problem is then. I haven’t tried switching the power source yet since I don’t have a 30w usb c so I guess my 20w power adapter will just go to waste because now, i’ll have to get myself a new 30w power adapter just so I can use my magsafe charger with my iphone 16 pro..
It won’t charge at all with the 20w adapter. But also, the first time I tried charging it using my apple magsafe charger was in the jeep so I’ll try it later at home and see if it actually works. Thank you!
It should charge with 20 watts, just not fast charge.
