How can I tell if my iPhone has been compromised?

Sounds like it could be a problem with your digitizer that is built into the screen. The digitizer is responsible for registering touches on the screen and when it begins to fail, the result is something called "ghost touches" that appears as if your phone is acting on it own.

This could have been damaged when you got your phone repaired. Also if you use a screen protector, try removing it as that may interfere with touches also.

The behavior of your iPhone that you described in your post leads me to believe that your iPhone is not hacked but something may have gone wrong during the repair work.

Have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Center for further diagonosis and a resolution.

If the Serviced iPhone is not as it Should:

A. Disable Screen Time:

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Screen Time
3. Tap: Turn Off Screen Time(so that it is greyed-out)

No success...

If items are missing from within the GUI, and disabling Screen Time did not work, then I recommend you back up what need be, and then reset your iPhone to factory settings. See where it goes from there. Report back the results.
